Seems like the Toyotas did better last year with the aero package they are running. Some of the Hendricks guys had problems adapting. I'm going with a Toyota. Still think Edwards will be in the mix.

Dunno. The top 5 right now in the final practice are

1,2 Gibbs
3,4,5 Hendrick

JGR at the top. Looks like Hendricks boys are better. I follow practice and you can learn a lot but it's not like running with 40 other cars drafting and side drafting. It will be a long race. I like 48, 78, 19 and 24 right now but may change after next practice and before the race. I do that a lot and regret it later.

Looks like it turned out ok for you.

I'll take a 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th erry damn week!

Harvick coming in 6th is the same as Johnson winning. How? Johnson gets 90 points for the win and 10 for leading a lap. Harvick get 80 points for 6th place plus 20 for leading the most laps. Both get 100 points today.

I should thank you for the Lucky Dog option! That's what saved me. I moved up in my other league, but not as much. I owe you a cold one for sure!

When this league was formed, B&B is the commissioner and chose the "Lucky Dog" option for the board. Similar to the lucky dog in NASCAR, in the league it "forgives" and doesn't count your lowest score for the segment so if you had a lower score last week, no, it doesn't count. If you had a higher score last week, that one counts. It will always throw out your lowest score for each segment during the season.

It will even out over the course of the season. If you have a bad race next week, then Daytona will come back for you and you will move up. I don't like the Lucky Dog personally but it helped me this week. It means I can't screw up any more races this segment.

Basically, your lowest score will not be counted in your total.

It might seem confusing to those who are new but it's not. There are 3 segments in the season. Your lowest score is dropped per segment. Example, if in Daytona you scored 200 points, 300 at Atlanta and 275 this weekend, it will drop the 200.

I haz the happy then. I was bummed because I didn't change my drivers in time and one of the ones from Daytona wasn't even entered for ATL.

If you look at the Group Standings board, at the top right of the board you will see a 'Weekly Performance' tab. Click on that and it will show you how the Lucky Dog works. With only 2 races, you will see that it crossed out your lowest score and counted your highest. It will continue to do that for the remainder of the Spring segment, so your lowest score will be crossed out each week.

Keep asking questions if yall don't understand what's going on. Between me and Bama&Beer, we can answer them. We have a few new players this year and it can be confusing at first. Happy to help.

***Note that the deadline to pick your teams is Friday, March 4 at 4am CST, so make them Thursday at the latest!***
