I was told by many wise libtards that TD was just an echo chamber and we were all soooooooooo far outside of reality. I guess we were on to something.

I was a conservative who was led to believe this site was full of delusional, fringe lunatics. I will never doubt you guys again.

Two sort-of media outlets that actually were right about the mood of the Fly-over states:

Rush Limbaugh

Tiger Droppings.

This board definitely leans conservative, but it isn't an "echo chamber" full of tin foil hat nutjobs like some here say to make themselves feel better. You can get really solid analysis on this board.

Still an echo chamber that just happened to make a correct prediction....unlike 2012.

Will check back in a few years and see how you feel about the president elect then.

Yeah, last night belonged to Trump and his supporters, and when the real work of being the president sets in, we'll see if he delivers.

For the sake of our country, I hope he leads with a steady hand and that much of the rhetoric he used to get elected was just that, rhetoric.

Otherwise, this nation is in for a bumpy ride.

I really believe that the millennials and others that supported Sanders on the Dem ticket didn't show up at the at the voting booth and assumed that HRC would have enough support to overcome that deficit.

Maybe the demographic analysis will prove me wrong.

And IMO to scan FB looking for HRC supporters' "melt" is rather pathetic.

This is not a football game, this is our nation's future.

The only thing that is pathetic is the melts themselves.

I echo this sentiment. I have learned so much here that has enabled me to confidently engage (usually as a last resort) those who would argue on behalf of the SJW policies and other progressive arguments.

I hope Trump is able to exercise a greater level of civility in his leadership then your comment reflects.

You might want to grow up a bit. Let's hope Trump does.

I mean, it's not not an echo chamber. There aren't really any alternative opinions.

It might be a conservative echo chamber today after a hard fought victory but it damn sure wasn't when Trump was struggling and getting lambasted from every possible again while liberals in this forum were laughing and calling Trumpsters delusional.

It's definitely an echo chamber just like HuffPo was in 2008 and 2012 when Obama was winning.

It's not a crime so might as well own it.
