I can see not understanding the things Hillary has done and how she's sold out our interests as SoS. It's not like any news stations have covered any of that.

I just don't understand how you can look at your healthcare premiums and see them continue to rise and say "I'll think I'll have me 4 more years of that!"

It feels like before long we'll be working extra jobs to pay for health insurance that a lot of us never use.

a large portion of the DEM electorate isn't paying the increased rates, so why would they care?

Yeah something has to change. I don't know how anyone has any faith that HRC will provide that change.

People that live in section 8 housing tend to pay zero or peanuts for insurance.

they could raise premiums to $10,000 and many of her supporters wouldn't care because they aren't paying them anyway so there's that

They don't care because they know that we'll pay for it.

The people in lower middle class, who make too much money to get the Obamacare benefits, are struggling with this insurance. I see it all over my family. They have less money to spend because a much larger portion of their paychecks are going directly to health insurance.

When has the government taken over anything and made it better and/or cheaper?

There's a big piece of the DEM electorate that is lower middle class and they're getting hurt the most by this. I have several people in my family who usually vote DEM and I doubt they're going to go cast a ballot for Hillary.

Fixing the minor issues with the ACA is more agreeable to me than kicking cancer patients off of their insurance coverage with no recourse, as the GOP prefers.

How do you fix these "minor" issues? How do you plan on having a shrinking workforce paying for a growing portion of unemployed Americans AND make it cheaper for everyone?

You continually manage to somehow prove yourself to be even more ignorant than previously thought every single day. It really is an inspiration.

It's not so much the bold aggressiveness of your ignorance, but how you've managed to master your ignorance on such a wide range of topics- throw something, anything, out there and one can rest assured that you'll manage to bring the heat with an impressively ignorant hot take.

What are you waiting for? Do you mean him actually coming to talk to you personally to tell you what he has been saying for months?

quote:

1. Completely repeal Obamacare. Our elected representatives must eliminate the individual mandate. No person should be required to buy insurance unless he or she wants to.

2. Modify existing law that inhibits the sale of health insurance across state lines. As long as the plan purchased complies with state requirements, any vendor ought to be able to offer insurance in any state. By allowing full competition in this market, insurance costs will go down and consumer satisfaction will go up.

3. Allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system. Businesses are allowed to take these deductions so why wouldn’t Congress allow individuals the same exemptions? As we allow the free market to provide insurance coverage opportunities to companies and individuals, we must also make sure that no one slips through the cracks simply because they cannot afford insurance. We must review basic options for Medicaid and work with states to ensure that those who want healthcare coverage can have it.

4. Allow individuals to use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Contributions into HSAs should be tax-free and should be allowed to accumulate. These accounts would become part of the estate of the individual and could be passed on to heirs without fear of any death penalty. These plans should be particularly attractive to young people who are healthy and can afford high-deductible insurance plans. These funds can be used by any member of a family without penalty. The flexibility and security provided by HSAs will be of great benefit to all who participate.

5. Require price transparency from all healthcare providers, especially doctors and healthcare organizations like clinics and hospitals. Individuals should be able to shop to find the best prices for procedures, exams or any other medical-related procedure.

6. Block-grant Medicaid to the states. Nearly every state already offers benefits beyond what is required in the current Medicaid structure. The state governments know their people best and can manage the administration of Medicaid far better without federal overhead. States will have the incentives to seek out and eliminate fraud, waste and abuse to preserve our precious resources.

7. Remove barriers to entry into free markets for drug providers that offer safe, reliable and cheaper products. Congress will need the courage to step away from the special interests and do what is right for America. Though the pharmaceutical industry is in the private sector, drug companies provide a public service. Allowing consumers access to imported, safe and dependable drugs from overseas will bring more options to consumers.

Lots of ways. Raise the penalty to force more people into coverage and lower the overall cost per person, find a way to convince the holdout states to expand Medicaid, reinstitute some of the parts Republicans gutted, etc etc.
