As someone that deals with the ACA everyday, you're an absolute pathetic human being if you think there is anything good about it.

That's the problem. They have working folks bent over a barrel and these leeches just laugh at the working stiffs picking up their tab. Why wouldn't they vote for her?

What a crock of crap.

There is no option to it.

Public option is no more than step to get to single payer.
Your tax dollars will go to it whether you choose to participate or not.

Their plan was to get more people on health insurance at any cost, change the rules so that private insurance is not feasible, and then switch to single payer.

Nobody in their right mind thinks insurance can cover pre existing conditions and remain viable. It's ludicrous on its face.

Nobody in their right mind thinks you can put freeloaders into a system, maintain the same level of service, and drive down costs for non-freeloaders.

Thanks John Roberts

The public option is going to end up being just like the VA and we all see how well that is going.

As someone who deals with human suffering every day, you're an immoral arse if you think more people getting health insurance is a bad thing.

And you're losing.

Raise the penalty to force more people into coverage

the penalty is meaningless since they do it via tax returns and many either don't file or they lie and say they had insurance...they have no means to collect even if they discover after the fact

That is what you don't understand. There should be no penalty. Period. You are telling people they MUST put money into the pool by purchasing overpriced insurance or else you are penalized ridiculous amounts. Health insurance USED TO BE optional. How the frick does the government get to tell me that I have to purchase insurance on my physical well-being? If you cant see its about more control of the population/votersmoney, I cant help you.

I understand this is about the ACA, but my problem is the blatent intentional lying that Washington does to the people in order to maintain their power and establishment .... and we keep electing them! They work for us and yet we don't hold them accountable. If an employee lied to its employer they would be fired.

ACA was just one example of a blatent lie similar to inner city job creation, unemployment, deficit spending, foreign affairs, etc.

Voting for Hillary (or Paul Ryan for that matter) is just another example of our country not holding people accountable for their actions.

"You don't get what you expect, you get what you inspect."

Hold them accountable to what they say!

Fixing the minor issues with the ACA is more agreeable to me than kicking cancer patients off of their insurance coverage with no recourse, as the GOP prefers.

Everyone pay attention and study this. It is a microcosm of how the liberal mind works. Too many people give liberals too much credit. It's really a lack of intelligence more often than not.

They don't collect the penalty anyways unless it's on your tax return. Also, for someone who is in their mid 20s and healthy who doesn't want to buy health insurance just so someone else's premiums can be cheaper, why should they have to? They're trying to forcefully eliminate adverse selection, which is complete bullshite.

My employer pays the lions share of our insurance premiums and many here give them no credit for it. I've heard several times people say "my insurance is actually cheaper this year"
