They want popular votes counted for elections now. These people change their views to suit themselves at any given opportunity. They throw fricking fits when they don't get their way. Their answer: Change the rules so it works for us.

I'm fine with going to congressional districts instead of winner take all states.

dumb dumb argument. He campaigned where he needed to campaign to win the election. Obviously, he would have done it differently if California popular vote numbers mattered. To presume that he wouldn't have added more popular votes from Dem strong holds is ridiculous.

Feels good to MAGA and watch the MELT.

They wouldn't be in favor of that. They would lose more often

I don't like the outcome but the electoral college is a good system. It gives the less populated interior states some say in who leads the country, and that's important. We're a democratic republic, and for good reason.

They may not be in favor of that but that what should happen. BY state is too large of demographic shifts. Should be by County/Parish period.

When you look at the electoral map you see exactly why the EC exists. It keeps the urban, heavy population areas from having absolute voting power. It keeps the common man relevant.

The founding fathers had their shite together whether they knew it or not.

Literally Van Jones argument last night. Said Hillary had worked hard to build up her resume for 30 years and then the rules changed "all of a sudden".

Van Jones just can't win

this is why they lost, and they still don't get it.

not only that, but they have no idea what the point of the EC is. and for the few that do, they'd love nothing more than to take away the voice and votes of people not in populous cities.

same shite the Republicans would be doing if they won the popular vote but lost the EC.

The Republicans and Democrats are all part of the problem.
