It's been a massive failure every time it's ever been attempted. So no.

Well it wouldn't be everyone every month.

Just "surprise! Need you here by this day for testing. "

Philosophically, absolutely. Practically, not so much. Florida tried this and ended up catching so few drug users, the program costed way more than what it saved by kicking drug users off the rolls.

So, as a small government, fiscal responsibility conservative, I'm not. Because it doesn't work.

Which means that some of the Trump voters would be tested also.

No. Wont in any way be cost effective. We do need to better enforce our work requirements that are already in place and maybe tweak the definition of "able-bodied".

All folks on any sort of government assistance:

Student loans/aid/grants

AFDC

SNAP

WIC

SSI

Section 8

Any of it - should expect to pee in a cup on 1 day's notice, 2 or 3 times a year at random.

Don't like that? Get a job.

Absolutely they should, and I think it is unreasonable to think otherwise

That's our money same as the welfare. Drug tests are costly

I'm with you, not saying I think we should necessarily. Just saying it's not unfair. Those with jobs have to pass drug tests

No I think it was more along the lines of privacy, but if the working class can't light up a blunt after work neither should a bum.

Not really. And, if they are truly random, they'll catch a bunch of positives.
