Scared he will be spoiled from all the winning?

Legitimate concern.

The exact opposite, actually. Very proud to be an American.

No. We're (my family and I) going to keep on living just like we did with an Obama administration.

My son (8 years old) did ask me last night does this mean his friend Carlos (latino kid) have to move away?

Someone asked me this today. I said, "Why would I be? He's going to be president but he won't be raising my child."

I need the OP to help me out in this thread by clarifying if she's seriously asking the question or being sarcastic.

Maybe he'll actually be able to change a tire, start a fire, or chop some fire wood

1) I have no little booger eaters

2) IF I had one, I am told that a police officer will drive up and kill him for no reason at all. So, I have that going for me. No fear of him "growing up" at all

The only fear I could have about any President would be one that would put us in an extended war. In that situation I worried more about HC than Trump.

No Virginia,

There is no Santa Claus.

quote:

This country should not ever look to its past and say, "Those were the good old days." America's best day is tomorrow, and next week, and next month. That's what everybody living in this country wants it to be, and they don't want to be led by people who don't see the country that way. They don't want to be led by people who see the country populated by a bunch of incapable, incompetent, sad-sack victims.

This has always been a nation of doers. This is a nation of people who can and want to do. They don't want to sit around and be among the 94 million not working. They do not want to have to view their government as Santa Claus. It was clear as a bell what happened last night.
