Bad Boy Buggy Hybrid?

The idea seems quite intriguing. A golf cart with 4x4 that will run off electric and/or gas.
I am buying a side by side before year end. Leaning towards a Polaris Diesel crew, but does anyone have any experience with the BBB ambush? Seems like a lot of technology that could break. If it works properly could be the best of both worlds. Anyone have any feedback?

If duck hunting I would stay with polaris ranger or honda forman. These two machines have been proven.
Look at the BBB if deer hunting and dry recreational riding only.

Co-worker has a Bad Boy, fully loaded. all I can say is what a rip off, great for the neighborhood, I'd rather have a vehicle built for the trails, then built to look like it was made for the trails. just my opinion of course

From riding in one a few times I would agree with this.

My uncle has an older Bad Boy. You can turn a 4 door long bed truck in a smaller turning radius than that thing. Two people and a few bags of corn and you never know if it will make it up the hill. I don't know if I'll ever be in the market for a side by side, but If I am, it will not be for a Bad Boy. They may have gotten better, but from what I know, I'm not a fan.

A few guys I hunt with have them...I thought they were pretty sweet. As long as you're not trying to go through gumbo, they're pretty damn nice.

Love the bad boy to get in and out of the woods super quietly. I put ours in some bad stuff. We have had ours for 3 years now. The batteries do seem to not hold a charge for as long now but that could be our fault as we charge it after every time we use it. I let it go dead one time and I was about 2 miles from the camp with snake infested woods btw me and the camp so Im a bit nervous to let that happen again.
Long story short, if duck hunting, its a no-brainer for me to get a Polaris. If deer hunting only, I would probably look at a bad boy again.

Bad Boys use a higher output motor than a regular golf cart, so they use up the batteries a lot faster

I agree, I had one loaded. Everything imaginable on it except a stripper pole. I spent more time hauling that thing to Natchez so I can get worked on than I did hunting with it. My dad has it now and deals with all the problems but my little brothers love it.

This is a huge problem I had. I would charge it, unplug it the next morning to go hunting and then would leave me stranded 100 yards down the trail to my duck blind.

The hybrids are relatively new to the scene and the concept sounds great. I've heard mixed reviews on them. Dou you homework, it may need another year or two to work the kinks out.
