LSU scored 3 runs in their two games in the CWS, the lowest two game total in CWS history. Sucks, huh!

UCLA scored 4 runs in their first two games, one more than LSU, and they are in the winners bracket and 2-0!

Strange things are happening in college baseball!

Not really, LSU committed errors that cost them the game against UCLA and we couldn't get timely hits against UNC

I'll just leave this right here.

LSU scored 3 total runs which qualifies as one of the lowest totals in Omaha history. LSU as we know went 2-and-BBQ. UCLA, however, has scored a mere 4 total runs - but is 2-0 and in the catbird seat. All the while batting a pathetic .165 as a team.

Amazing.

LSU is suppose to be a potent hitting team. UCLA is a poor hitting team. The ball park and the bats are not to blame for everything. I give some credit for the defense and pitching of LSU's opponents. Also LSU wasn't exactly drilling a buch of low line drives. They were popping a lot of balls up. If they had drilled low line drives and hard ground balls I suspect they would have have more runs to show for their at bats.

Our 3,5 and 6 guys not getting a single hit is a huge reason we're not still in Omaha

You don't win games when the largest part of the heart of your order goes 0-24 over two games.
