Best divisional record this season. I'll take that all day every day over an extra spot or 2 in the draft.

Three straight losses might improve our draft position by two slots. That's not going to do much.

Aim for 8-8. See who really wants to be with this team next year.

And play spoiler to Dallas and Tampa.

Honestly the offense is just a huge mess. I wouldn't want to get into the playoffs just to be embarrassed. We get our run game going, and then we try to play action for the deep ball. Our short to intermediate passing and screen game are an after thought. We're not being patient and smart anymore. We're forcing the issue, and defenses know it, and they're waiting for it.

Drew looks tired and rattled. He's probably put too much stress on himself. I know he won't allow it, but it would be better to let his arm rest and give Chase a chance to audition for another team.

He put way too much on his shoulders to step up in Payton's absence, IMO.

None of LSU's current D linemen are in the pros. This is a retarded, off-base comparison to different, individual NFL players who happened to play their college ball at LSU. Apophenia

Neither will the coaches or fans I'd imagine.

Brees is just in a funk right now, Eli went through a worse one than this already this season.

Resting him won't make it better IMO.

We still have a chance to go 4-2 in the division. We can tie the falcons for the best divisional record, and if the Buccs beat them, WE CAN END THE SEASON WITH THE BEST DIVISIONAL RECORD. That is awesome, i am cheering for it. With all the bullshite, all the mistakes, all the lack of coaching, we still own this frickin division. We still have 2 divisional opponants to play at home. frick tanking for draft pics. Lets show the NFC south why they fear us.

While that would be awesome to do, winning anymore games does us no help at this point. For all intents and purposes we are eliminated from the playoffs. If we're not making it I want the best pick possible. I'm not rooting for them to "tank" and not give a shite, I'm just saying that losing helps us right now more than winning meaningless games.

And to the guy who said they wished we could have shoved it in Goodells face, what's stopping is from doing that next season? That's what I'm looking forward to at this point. I think we finally all realized how blindly optimistic we were going into the season thinking we could overcome how much Goodell royal fricked us.

This is another big point of mine. Not so much about Chase, but Brees looks absolutely physically and emotionally drained every week now. He basically tries to win every game every single possession.
