At this point, were about 99.9999999% out of the race. In all honesty, I'll be rooting for 3 straight losses to end this horrid season. For the first time in awhile, we finally have a chance to draft a difference maker. Can you imagine having a Jarvis Jones or someone of his playmaking ability? At this point Id absolutely hate to go 8-8 just to barely miss the playoffs just to have a shitty draft choice.

Our only consolation in this whole, shitty, horrendous, clusterfrick of a season is to get someone who can finally make a difference on the defensive side of the ball. How long has it been since we've had that? Sharper was the last and I can't even remember before that. I'm just ready to end this shite and come back with a vengeance that you know Sean will enact on the entire league.

why? so we get a couple picks better?

better would be to hire scouts that are worth a shite, than to tank 3 games.

100% agree. You aren't a real fan if you are cheering for the saints to win. What will that do? Nothing. A worse draft pick and no playoffs? That's what you want.

Here's to the tank!

If we lost the next 3 games, I'll be happy for a draft pick.
If we win the next 3 games, I'll be proud of my team.

Them's my feelings.

yeah, that really has been a big missing piece. I think you'd have to look back to La'Roi Glover or Sammy Knight as the last big time playmakers on our defense before Sharper.

Glover had 17 sacks back in the 2000 season but really that whole D-line was dominant. But it just goes to show, when you have a force like that in the middle of your line, good things will happen. I think the Saints had like 66 sacks that year

and Sammy Knight just flat out made a lot of interceptions. He was just as instinctive as Sharper was in my opinion.

I agree and I disagree. As a fan, it relieves some of the pressure of watching games and seeing the team do poorly... but I really wish they could have done well and shoved that shite in Goodell's face.

We still have a chance to go 4-2 in the division. We can tie the falcons for the best divisional record, and if the Buccs beat them, WE CAN END THE SEASON WITH THE BEST DIVISIONAL RECORD. That is awesome, i am cheering for it. With all the bullshite, all the mistakes, all the lack of coaching, we still own this frickin division. We still have 2 divisional opponants to play at home. frick tanking for draft pics. Lets show the NFC south why they fear us.

I just don't know.

It's still not that much of a difference in the first round to get a couple of picks earlier.. and we don't have a 2nd round. Hopefully we somehow get the 2nd back then it could be huge.

One of LSU DE's will be available IMO, but man I want Mosley at OLB any ways. I just don't trust drafting DT, DE, or even CB early right now.

Sometimes I almost wish the Saints would go to a 3-4 scheme, mainly because you can go after those LB/DE hybrids.
