My dad is one happy camper either way. It's a bit hard to distinguish the specifics there, like the circumference of the base and the length of some of the hooks. I'll get back to everyone when I find out the score.

Yeah that was just a quick guess. I'm usually pretty good at guessing though... That said, I killed a 10 point one time that I thought was mid 130s and turned out to be 151 and my biggest deer ever.

Just talked to him and he said they did a rough scoring and it turned out to be about 155. Not a bad deer for sure!

Beautiful, great deer. Interestingly, his brow tines are short relative to the rest of his rack.

Agreed.
They must have some rough fights in Arkansas because my brother shot an 8 point two days before with similar traits. The deer both had the same sized bodies and both had none existent brow tines. But the G2s and 3s were big on both of them, only this one scored a good bit better.

Well as I said early, my dad roughly scored him around 155. They dropped off the head and cape at a taxidermist who will be officially measuring him.

After getting home and looking on the computer, yeah my 165 guess was a little high. That s.o.b. looked huge on my phone.
