So how does this work? We just ignore the fact that we were on a roll and lose to ole piss and feel good that the upcoming week we are going to beat bama.

So did we lose those two games because coach O and his coaching staff are incompetent. Or did we lose because key players were injured and couldn't play and because we didn't have the depth to adequately replace those injured key players thanks to coach O's predecessor.

Well once those key players returned back to playing again we beat a top 20 team and a top 10 team in back to back weeks. Thus, proving once and for all that coach O and his coaching staff are not incompetent as falsely alleged by the gay association of coach O haters.

How many times are you going to say this BS? Because that's exactly what it is.

Who are you trying to convince, other posters or yourself? Give it a damn rest.

We just beat a top 10 team and we're trending up. Let's focus on that, shall we?

Well the team rolled over vs a horrible MSU team and we had zero business bein beat at home by Troy. LSU should always be expected to take care of a sun belt team at home. Troy isn't very good.

there it is continue to blame Les for the troy loss idiot

Auburn was a good win but Florida is trash, they literally should be 1-5 right now. Florida is a top 20 team? Lets see how they finish the season, they won't be near a poll anytime soon.

I don't know how your dumb arse isn't banned yet

Losing to MooSt, Troy AND Ole Miss and beating Bama in their house in the same season? Does not compute.

What if LSU wins out and wins the SEC championship and we lose by 40 to Penn State? We'd be back to square one. You'd think we wouldn't be back to square one and be happy with the how the year went (a lot of fans would be happy like myself), but not the majority of the fanbase. Especially here on TD. There would 50 threads a day asking for Ed's buyout.

Ive learned it's a dirty cycle with whatever happens unless we win it all. Look at Les Miles entire career. Fans complain unless we win.

What if I told you we have a young team and these past 2 weeks showed all the fans that there is hope for the near future?
Now that.... that is something we can all stand behind.

What are you talking about? If we won out and won a SEC championship we would not be back at square one. Even if we were smashed in a bowl it doesn't take away we won the SEC which would be a major accomplishment.

If Ed wins out and wins a SEC title, regardless of how we play in the bowl I would be elated and couldn't ask for a much more.

lol, right.

Still a what da frick moment... always will be.

I can understand why people say Troy was a wake up moment. But don't forget, it's the second wake up moment... some a-hole hit the snooze button. IF it is a wake up moment that lasts for several seasons and doesn't happen again say for 5 or more years, I'll take it. IF it becomes LSU football's version of a Grimm cautionary tale, where coaches says 'remember homecoming '17, you don't want to have that happen do you?', I'll take it.

To answer you OP: not acceptable. under no circumstances is losing to Ole Miss 'ok'. Not with Nutt, Miles, or any coach. It does happen. That does not mean it is acceptable.

If ever, EVER, LSU lines up with Ole Miss and expects to lose- fricking fire everybody. I do NOT mean that in jest.

Depth on DL was affecting us. It's been a problem for years. Depth in other areas is affecting us, but to a lesser degree (e.g. D backfield). Unless you recruit like Bama, and no other team does over a given 3yr span, you will always have a depth problem somewhere.

BUT, there is plenty of incompetence to point out, not just Orgeron, but necessarily including Orgeron. Yes, Aranda gets some... D could've performed better despite DL issues. Canada gets some too. Joseph and Grimes get a fair share too as position coaches. And because in one of those games they quit AND were soft they all get a dose with a big frick you to Orgeron and in the other it's an inexcusable loss for a team with a blowout loss to an SEC foe to come out at homecoming, at home obviously, flat. You don't come out flat at home when you've been blown out recently.

Some people are putting way too much thought into this.
Yes, I would take it, all day! I hate Bama with every bone in my body.
