Looks like I'll be switching back to Fuzzy's ($1.50) for Taco Tuesdays.

Plus its cool to say things are culch'd on td.com, because you get to write culcha which means you are on the inside

2. The U.S. government subsidizes corn production for bio-fuels. That takes corn out of the food supply, raising prices. America now uses 40 percent of its corn crop to make ethanol. That's up from 6 percent in 2000. (Source: "Oily Food," The Economist, October 10, 2015.)

This seems outrageous to me. Or at least the increase in a short amount of time

if $20 for you and the SO is that much of a concern, you probably should be eating at home. I mean, serioulsy, its not like you are trying to eat at Ruths. If you can't swing this, you should just cook her dinner and try living within your means.

Did he say he couldn't swing it? Even if you can afford a meal that costs $20 extra doesn't mean you should keep going there. $3 for their tacos isn't absurd, but RH's non-Tuesday prices are pretty ridiculous for mediocre food.

You're assuming/generalizing big time and the response below yours is more accurate.

It's not breaking anyone. It's the thought of not wishing to pay $55 on a Tuesday night for what I used to get for $35. I can now do without it. It's no longer as enticing? Make sense?

when did culture start going to rum house?

Yeah, maybe I am just good at blocking them out of my site? I see a quite a few groups of trashy nurses, but I can handle them.

I haven't been since they've raised the prices, but I just stick with a few tacos and a few beers too. I felt like buying queso and salsa defeats the premise of a special

I was gonna say the same when this thread first popped up. I agree that $7 salsa and $8 queso is absurd, but if I’m going somewhere specifically for a special, I’m probably just ordering whatever I’m there for.
