I'll be in Moab and then Salt Lake City coming up this week. Any beers worth seeking out? Hazy IPAs are my go-to, but not exclusively

Not beer, but there is "High West" whiskey distillery. If they have " Mid-Winter's Night Dram" for tasting, grab it.

You can get sodas on BYU's campus as of like last week. That's all I got. Go enjoy an ice cold pop

This. They have a nice place with really good food, and it's pretty close to town. I recommend the sweet tater tots.

High west is awesome and I believe there is a squatters brew pub down the street from there in Park City.

They have some decent IPAs but I haven't seen any haze

I was impressed with the number of breweries in Salt Lake while we were there. LINK. As others have stated, Uinta is worth a trip.

I was in Moab in June. There's Moab Brewery - which is a restaurant with a microbrewery. They had a handful of craft brews on tap. It was solid after three long days of hiking and camping in Canyonlands.

Wasn't crazy about anything uinta does. Not bad beer, but just nothing noteworthy. I really enjoyed Epic sour IPA. I saw it at a few diff establishments.

The beer hive in downtown SLC is a solid place to drink beer. They have hundreds of bottled beers from the region and all over.

Just be aware of beer laws there. Anything on tap is sub 4% by law, so everything brewed for draft beer is usually dialed way back from their usual recipe.

Moab brewery doesn't have good beer, but the nut brown ale isn't bad.

Eddie McStiffs has the best selection around Moab, and pretty solid food.

I'm a big fan of Red Rock Elephino. Balanced west coast dipa. You'll struggle if you're looking for hazy ipas there.

I've had Uinta stuff before. Was maybe hoping something decent was distributed here. I grabbed some Evil Twin before leaving Nevada that was really good.

Epic's Big Bad Baptist stout is excellent if you're into stouts. They also have dopplebock that's very good.

Squatter, Epic, Uinta in SLC, Never been to Moab. Be wary of the limitations on percentages depending where you are, grocery store, etc. The whole State is session-leaning.

Might be my favorite stout. I also had their Mexican style lager that was excellent. It had a hint of lime and salt Was perfect with some fish tacos. I can’t remember the name of it though.
