How prophetic are these Presidential quotes? And do you know who gave the quote?

I weep for the liberty of my country when I see at this early day of its successful experiment that corruption has been imputed to many members of the House of Representatives, and the rights of the people have been bartered for promises of office.

When there is a lack of honor in government, the morals of the whole people are poisoned.

If we take the route of the permanent handout, the American character will itself be impoverished.

It isn't sufficient just to want - you've got to ask yourself what you are going to do to get the things you want.

The last one will surprise you as it is the most socialistic president of all time in some peoples views.

I think the first one is Andrew Jackson, I don't know about the rest.

The first one is Jackson.

I will give you a hint on the others they were all in the 1900's. The last one astonished me for him to be quoted as saying that.

Without looking at anything:

Jackson

Jefferson or Madison

Cleveland

Maybe LBJ or Nixon

I guessed Jackson correctly, and after your hint FDR.

2nd I want with Teddy Roosevelt, and 3rd was LBJ for the irony.
Looked them up and wrong twice!
