I'm tempted to give Blue Aprom a try. I know there are other options.Has anyone tried enough of these services to have a favorite or recommendation. I'd appreciate the info.

I found Blue Apron's menu choices boring & the recipes were too fiddly. Lots of weeknight work for just a few portions. I didn't find it very tasty or time saving; in fact, it was inefficient. Would rather spend a little more effort & planning to make something that produces leftovers that can be repurposed for additional meals later in the week. (Example: pot roast & mashed potatoes on day 1, turned into cottage pie with the addition of vegetables & a little effort on day 2, turned into potato pancakes (w/onions & garlic) on day 3, and so on)
Now, if I were a singleton living way out in po-dunk, it might be a treat to have just a few ingredients delivered right to me. I am absolutely NOT the target market for this sort of thing.

We did several rounds of blue apron and hello fresh.
They food overall was better with hello fresh. Also, the meals were more reproducible with hello fresh. Blue apron sometimes has some pre-made sauces or seasonings and they don't really tell you how to make them on your own.

I've tried this one and one other. They were both the same and din't work for me because It takes too much time to prepare every night. Not to mention the quality of the produce I received was not always the freshest. To be fair, I tried them when they first started so maybe they have worked out the kinks.
Eta. I also remember not being able to pick my own meals. That was also aggravating because I think I got one or two I was not excited about at all. Again, this may have changed since I tried it.

That's how I cook. But I have 3 teenagers. I have to cook a ton. Also, will you share your pot roast and mashed potatoes and cottage pie recipes?
