I'm thinking about trying Avatar and was wondering if anyone has used it. If so, how legit is it and would you recommend?

Yes it's very legit. Unless you have a very good understanding of how to manipulate macros, it's the service that should be used if you aren't going to spend mega money on one of the big online trainers.
It's does a really really good job of adjust macros. It doesn't connect to MyFitnessPal though and instead connects to mymacros+. Mymacros+ sucks donkey balls. Just plug the given macros into mfp.
It also is not real compatible with carb cycling either which kind of sucks cause if you could pick that, it would damn good with leangains.
Website is a little clunky too but overall the service and formula used is by far the best value out there, unless you know how to do it yourself.

I love it. Everything 777 said is true.
The built-in high/low macro days don't really do anything with carb cycling, but if you use the compliance tracker spreadsheet you can get your macros from the Avatar site and build in your own days. I don't carb cycle but I use the hell out of the compliance tracker spreadsheet to plan high/low days. Same could be done for carb cycling.

Nice! Thanks to both of y'all. Carb cycling isn't in my plans right now but
This is something I need big time. Definitely gonna give it try.
