If you want therapy, don't go to a psychiatrist, MD. The vast vast majority don't do therapy. They do med management . You might get 5 to 7 minutes of off-the-cuff therapy during a 15 minute med check. If it's therapy you want to try a psychologist, PhD or Psy.D. You will get the full 45 to 50 minutes of therapy. It is what clinical and counseling psychologists are trained to do

This guy is a social worker, LCSW,. He is very good at what he does. He has a reputation as a good therapist.

I used to see Dr. Burl Forgey in the late 90's. He was cool. He still has a practice in BR.
