Headed to Grand Isle Thursday thru Sunday and wanted to check with the OB fishermen to see if there are any reports in the Grand Isle area. I will have my boat with me and plan on trying around the rocks in Caminada bay and Bayou Ferblanc area for Trout and maybe redfish. Any other suggestions from the OB. I don't normally fish Grand Isle this early in the year so im not sure how the fish are running. TIA

Run to Leeville. Easy run from Grand Isle or if you have the family you could always trailer the boat to the public landing

Use live Croakers. Fish will hit it let it sit for two seconds and they will hit again the set the hook.

Don't know about the fishin, but lock your gear up and don't leave it unattended for any length of time. Last time I fished there, my group had a tackle box and 3 rod and reels stolen right out of the boat while we were gettin a hamburger in a public place with tons of people around.

Haven't been there since. Ain't nothin worse than being stolen from. Thieves don't think about sentimental value of things. 2 of the rods they stole, were my buddies dad's that is no longer on this earth. Terrible feeling...awful end to a bad fishing trip.

But good luck, hope you kill 'em.
