how do you explain appleby getting time to throw?

he had lots of time most of the day to throw, whereas etling was running for his life all day.
and yet our Defense harassed Florida's qb all day.
worst pass rush I saw from Alabama all year. they still wouldn't let florida run, though.

Simple, they spread them out and used misdirection and ran to the sideline occasionally keeping Bama guessing. I saw many 3 wide receiver sets with motion

Because bama wound up out front early, without even having to score on offense. They then made appleby beat them with accuracy, which he couldn't.
They also still had 4 sacks and 8 hurries, so maybe your brain was not letting your eyes see the truth in the first place.

Florida does things with formations, motion, misdirection, etc. that can force the front 7 to hesitate just a bit. LSU's passing attack consist of, in no particular order, (1) play action long developing routes, (2) play action long developing routes, (3) play action bootleg to TE/FB, (4) play action long developing routes.
Bama's LB's and DL could just pin their ears back and come after LSU. LSU's formations, routes, etc. don't really do much to confuse a defense.

They knew he was inaccurate and wanted him throwing into coverage to get picks. It didn't work on the first drive and they started bringing more pressure after.

The bama effort yesterday was not what it was against LSU. Call it a rivalry or whatever you want but bama gets up for LSU & plays it's best game of the year against LSU. That's why other teams score or have more rushing yard or better stats against bama than LSU; the talent at bama shows up & beats everybody else.

I believe it's we recruit tackles and make them guards Pocic will be no guard in the NFL he a for sure tackle
