It will be a rebadged Everest- which actually won't be too bad- think a little more hardcore version of a 4Runner- kinda like a Land Crusier Prado for you travelers.
Google Everest- they could do it right if they put a little effort in it.

That's a bad pic of it- it's a Ranger based SUV and the new Rangers are really capable. I saw one in person, less dolled up in India, and it was pretty good.

Oooo, the rest of the world gets all the good SUVs and small trucks, while we get shite. Would be awesome to get some of them here, like the Everest.

I've spent the overwhelming majority of my adult life working in some of the world's most undeveloped countries- 34 or so at last count.
For guys like us the offerings are amazing- Land Cruiser Prado, Volkswagen Amarok, HiLux, Defender, etc.

The rest of the world isn't a concrete jungle. We get the boring soccer mom SUV's because most people never take theirs off-road. They just want a vehicle that looks like it is used for that. You actually need solid SUV's in the developing countries.
