I bought some jumbo crab meat in Galveston the other day and I'm not sure what to serve with a fantastic crab cake recipe...

Please advise...

Angel hair with a little olive oil and garlic is my favorite thing with crab cakes. It seems to lighten up the heaviness of crab cakes, IMO. A little remoulade dressing too.

I am a big fan of nicely flavored slaw, perhaps with celeriac and dill. I find the coldness and the consistency to be a great pairing.

My favorite way to do crab cakes at home is to fry some eggplant while you have the oil going anyway. Stack eggplant, crab cake, eggplant, crab cake and serve it over al dente pasta with olive oil, salt & pepper and freshly grated parmesan.

I like asparagus and a light salad with strawberries, pecans or almonds, maybe a little crumbled feta and a vinaigrette.
