LSU Players at the 2016 Combine (5):

Vadal Alexander, OG
Jerald Hawkins, OT
Deion Jones, OLB
Rashard Robinson, CB
Jalen Mills, S

Official NFL Results
(Position Rank)

Vadal Alexander, OG
Grade: 5.42
40-Yard Dash: 5.57
Bench Press: 25 reps
Broad Jump: 95.0"
3-Cone Drill: 8.04
20-Yard Shuffle: 4.90
NFL Comparison: John Jerry, New York Giants

Jerald Hawkins, OT
Grade: 5.5
40-Yard Dash: 5.23
Bench Press: 23 reps
Broad Jump: 100.0"
3-Cone Drill: 8.19
20-Yard Shuffle: 4.89
NFL Comparison: Bobby Massie, Arizona Cardinals
Summary: Jerald Hawkins made a bad decision to leave school a year early. He could have used another season blocking for LF7 to improve his ranking. He might have a bad draft after his bad showing.

Jalen Mills, FS
Grade: 5.39
40-Yard Dash: 4.61 (7th)
Bench Press: 16 reps (7th)
Vertical Jump: 37.0" (5th)
Broad Jump: 10'3" (6th)
3-Cone Drill: 6.86 (2nd)
20-Yard Shuffle: 4.00 (2nd)
60-Yard Shuffle: 11.53 (3rd)
NFL Comparison: Lamarcus Joyner, S, Los Angeles Rams

Deion Jones, OLB
Grade: 5.56
40-Yard Dash: 4.59 (4th)
Vertical Jump: 33.0" (13th)
Broad Jump: 120.0" (9th)
NFL Comparison: Joe Mays, San Diego Chargers
Summary: No one had a better combine from LSU. He has exploded onto the scene and has impressed everyone with his explosive speed, especially during the cone drills.

Rashard Robinson, CB
Grade: 5.82
40-Yard Dash: 4.49 (14th)
Vertical Jump: 35.5 (15th)
Broad Jump: 121.0"

Generally, the longer your arms the more difficult it is to pump out high rep amounts on bench

Our lineman seem weak every year compared to the top prospects in the class.

That would explain it, but it still makes no sense if he's projected as a slot corner.

Grade Title

9.00-10 Once-in-lifetime player
8.00-8.99 Perennial All-Pro
7.50-7.99 Future All-Pro
7.00-7.49 Pro Bowl-caliber player
6.50-6.99 Chance to become Pro Bowl-caliber player
6.00-6.49 Should become instant starter
5.50-5.99 Chance to become NFL starter
5.20-5.49 NFL backup or special teams potential
5.01-5.19 Better-than-average chance to make NFL roster
5.00 50-50 Chance to make NFL roster
4.75-4.99 Should be in an NFL training camp
4.50-4.74 Chance to be in an NFL training camp
No Grade Likely needs time in developmental league.

Looks like they all fall in these two categories:

5.50-5.99 Chance to become NFL starter
5.20-5.49 NFL backup or special teams potential

25 and 23reps arent considered "weak" on the bench. It's pretty much the average for OL.

The most exciting thing, by far, about this draft in that only 5* (4) LSU players are in it.
