Who are you starting wild card weekend?
(For those unfamiliar, you get a multiplier for starting the same person 2 weeks in a row and 3 and 4 etc)
I'm going with:
Qb- Wilson
Rb- lynch
Rb- Johnson, David
Wr- Baldwin
Wr- brown
Te- gronk
Def- Seattle
K- gast

If I started someone on a bye do I get double points the next week as well?

Yes
You get 0 this week
But 2 times if you start them again next week

Basically pick the super bowl teams and win

You will win if you can correctly predict the SB.
I'm all in on the Cardinals and Patriots
QB - Brady
RB - Johnson
RB - White
WR - Edelman
WR - Fitzgerald
TE - Gronk
K - Gostkowski
DEF - Arizona

good deal, I love this little contest, fills the fantasy void till next season.
My lineup:
QB- Big Ben
RB- AP
RB- David Johnson
WR- Doug Baldwin
WR- A Brown
TE- Reed
D-KC
K- Haushka
Do you try and pick all winners every week to get the bonus?

Last year was boring because everyone just loaded up on pats and Seahawks. I tried to differentiate by going packers, nearly paid off.
RB is tough this year. Some of the better ones I don't expect to make it out of RD 1 and the others are meh or timeshares

You aren't rolling with anyone actually playing this week?

I think I'm going to load up on steelers. Getting the multipliers in that offense is a solid gamble IMO

I'm not...I will only win if those teams make it to the SuperBowl.
For example, let's say I went with Russell Wilson and he gets knocked out in the NFC Championship...let's assume he gets 20 points per game
20 x 1 = 20
20 x 2 = 40
20 x 3 = 60
He would score a total of 120 points
Then I could take Tom Brady (or someone) in the Super Bowl and he would get 20 x 1 for a total of 140 points at the QB position.
Instead, I'm going with Tom Brady...let's assume he scores the same 20 points per week and makes it to the Super Bowl
0 x 1 = 0
20 x 2 = 40
20 x 3 = 60
20 x 4 = 80
He would score a total of 180 points > 140
If my logic/calculation is flawed, someone please help me, lol.

This is my first time playing, and I'm in a league with about 15 guys with a $100 entry fee. Do you think the "pick the SB" strategy is effective for a small league like my, or more for a league with a large number of players?
Posted on 1/8/16 at 1:52 pm to EWE TIGER
The group I am playing in is small, albeit a free one. I wouldn't change my strategy if I were playing for money.

Exactly
I changed Wilson to Brady
However I do think pats Seahawks rematch
I'm now starting
Brady
Lynch (unsure about injury)
Cardinals Rb
Edelman
Baldwin
Gronk
Seattle def
Pats kicker
