I never believe the bs theories on teams losing games purposely, but they weren't trying hard at all. The winner played SEA and I think they purposely half assed that game.

If Green Bay won they were playing at home against Minnesota.

They could have phoned it in at 20-3.

It's more likely the Vikings shite themselves on that strip-six and realized that their lead was too big.

Umm, no. They would have had the Vikings at home again next week.

They'd be playing the Vikings again, at home, had they won.

Don't they get a bonus for winning the division?

It doesn't work like that

GB won and they play Minn AT home again..

Minn won so they host Seattle..

GB lost so now they have to travel TO washington

Green Bay wouldn't have played Seattle if they won.

Green Bay has a much better shot beating Minnesota at home than they do beating Washington on the road.

Washington is going to beat Green Bay.

It's the Vikings who had the bigger dilemma.

I disagree with this. In that scenario, GB would have already beaten Minny twice this season, and once the week before. The chances of them beating Minny a third time aren't great.

Does that mean that GB goes to Washington and wins? No. But I don't think the Skins are world beaters by any means. I could see the argument for wanting to play Washington on the road before having to try to beat Minny again. It's a close call at least.

Big time...still don't think they were playing lights out to win that game. Or perhaps they just aren't very good.
