Weekend update used to be my least favorite part of the show (other than the musical guest on most nights) but Jost and Che are great at weekend update. It is now my favorite part of the show.

Had high hopes, but I thought most of the skits were mediocre. Monologue was good, Weekend Update too.

Cold opening was meh.
Monologue was pretty good.
Adele Digital Short was probably best of the year.
Adele's singing was also best of the year. Won't be topped either. I've listened to "Hello" hundreds of times and she just gave me shivers when she sang it.
To be honest, Matthew M. was unremarkable.
Aidy Bryant has surpassed both Kate McKinnon and Vanessa Bayer as my favorite cast member. She is great in everything she does.

Aidy led the crew at Upright Citizens Brigade I saw a few months back and she was just so damn good with improv. She's fantastic.
