Grandfathered unlimited plan? It used to be a charge you paid to be able to visually scroll through a menu of your voicemails instead of just calling the number and listening to your voicemails.

It's the ability to see, pick and choose which VM you want to listen to as opposed to the old method of dialing your VM and listening to them one by one, clicking save or delete after each one.
It's a worthwhile charge, IMHO, and the only reason I left Straight Talk. I never realized the carrier played a large roll in that being possible. Straight Talk had the old VM function, so I'm back on VW.

I get it for free with CallCentric. It sends me an e-mail with an MP3 attachment.

I get it with Verizon. Tried using it once, and decided it was stupid. I can see how it would be useful for a business phone that gets 100 messages a day, but other than that, no use at all

No idea how anyone could not be using Google Voice to get free transcription.
