$220 for 2 isn't bad at all

Wouldn't go that far. Not saying I haven't spent this or even a little more on dinner for two, but this is very high end for a relatively new restaurant in a small community. Price wise it's on the Flemings/Jubans or high end New Orleans restaurant level. I've eaten there. The food and service was good. I wouldn't put it in the August/Commanders Palace range, but I'll be back.

To be honest, I'm rarely happy with meals that cost $250 and over. I'm full and it's difficult to tip when there's an $80 bottle of wine involved. Tipping on wine seems strange to me...they did exactly what they would have done for a $35 bottle, only they don't offer one that cheap.

I live in Central me and the wife went a month ago it was $160 with the tip. We also went last year at Christmas time it was $250 with the tip but I drank 6 beers and she had 5 martinis so the bar bill was over $80. The food is good but in my opinion the best steak in BR is Flemings.

I was there about a year ago with a group of 20 for lunch. We all enjoyed it very much. Don't think anyone had a steak. Food was very good and service was excellent. We know Kevin, though, and he was there at the time, so maybe that's why service was so good. We didn't wait or want for anything.

It's a great space. The courtyard would be wonderful in nice weather. It's attractive and comfortable. I sat out there for a bit waiting for the rest of the group.

We saw the plans for the place in BR. I think there will be a similar courtyard. I'll be glad to go there and try it out. I'd like to try steak there.

Interested to see what happens with his parking situation at the future Jefferson location. He had secured a lease with Bocage Racquet club for a piece of unused land to use as employee parking, but that deal expired. I don't think the membership is going to vote to extend that offer again.
