Just the northern parish school, Sarepta/Cotton Valley/Shongaloo/Springhill

I think it was just a matter of time before they got pretty good at the major sports. Lots of raw athletes come out of that area as well as east of there in Claiborne... Just a ton don't get properly developed, for whatever reason, but when they get it together some freak athletes come from that region, just in lower numbers

1-on-1's from the Five-star challenge. Check out Devin White at LB around the 2:45 mark. LINK

White is a bad, bad, man. He needs to stay on defense. Went against the #5 TE, and both the #1 and #3 RBs in those clips.

Dude is an athlete wherever he plays. Once he gets to LSU and sees the depth charts for RB and LB he might make the move himself. But either way he's gonna be a beast at LSU

My source told me yesterday that DW now wants to play LB b/c in the NFL, compared to RB's, LB's get paid just as well and have better longevity. Said similar thing in this article.

"I'm trying to figure out what I plan to play. I've been leaning towards linebacker because of the NFL draft, it could help play longer and things like that. But then I think that I could be a first round pick at running back so I haven't really decided what I want to do yet."

He would be a great get but he seems more & more infatuated with Bama. At this juncture I'm not expecting him to be @ LSU but hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Ole Miss may be the bigger threat in this one.

Would be nice to see Devin and LF in the same backfield, which ever one is carrying the ball. Thunder and more Thunder.

I think we get White for the same reasons we got Fournette. Frank Wilson does a great job of forming bonds with the players and their families, and telling White that he's the only RB they're recruiting builds a ton of trust and credibility IMO. If he wants to play RB in college, he's the only one we're recruiting, and we've had a ton of success putting RBs into the NFL. If he wants to play LB in college, he'll have an opportunity to come in and play immediately. Win-win for him. Frank doesn't lose instate recruiting battles very often when he's the primary recruiter
