I don't think just looking at a percentage should dictate if someone is going to see a movie or not. I think some will use the percentage to promote and/or justify their like or dislike of a movie. For example, The Wolverine is at 69% on RT and lets say AoU ends up at 65%. The Wolverine fans will say The Wolverine was a better movie because it ended up at 69%. I don't think one can go off the percentage. It's really personal taste I suppose.

For me, I see pretty much all super-hero genre movies because I collect comic books. Are there some that were so freaking terrible that I cant believe I paid money to see it, yup. But I go see it and make that decision. I try not to let others or a percentage determine if I like a movie or not. Now will I read a few reviews or see what others on boards like this say about the movie, sure. But I'll still see the movie then agree or disagree.

The positive reviews aren't so positive. The negative reviews are scathing

For whatever its worth, it looks like it's trending up a bit - 75% all critics and 77% top critics. And certified fresh for both.

That's the second time you've posted that witticism, and it's still not accurate. Look at metacritic for example: 34 positive, 11 mixed, 1 negative. That's ONE scathing review.

I do think the reviews have pretty much consistently said: if you like the MCU, you'll like the film, but this isn't their best effort.

It's true. "Despite being bloated or whatever...avengers succeeds"

The bad ones are "it sucks and looks fake"

I don't have an opinion, but more and more are pouring in. The positive reviews all mention the character overload weighing on the movie

RollTide abandoning when it creeps back up to 75%

I dislike the idea of this thread anyways, but it is funny that it was only interesting when the score was falling.
