Just got notified that a friend who is a big time foodie is going to be staying in Baton Rouge tomorrow night. I took him to IPO and Jubans last time so those are out. Suggestions please.

TIA

I'm not a foodie of BR, but has your friend had the chargrilled oysters at Mansur's?

Beausoliel or however it is spelled

Also, the pics at the new City Pork look good. My homeboy Chef Andre is doing some good looking dishes.

Agree Beausoliel... But have not enjoyed City Pork2 much. Had a couple items... Need to go again I guess. Sandwiches are good tho.

Robertos may b worth the trip

But you know one.

And I'll second the Mansurs oysters. I'll throw in the fish at French Market Bistro.

The wild mushroom pasta with over easy egg at Ninos is my current favorite but winter is leaving and it will as well.

Mansur's or Ruffino's should be next up IMO

ETA: Never been to Beausoleil but it's run by the owners of Juban's so I'd imagine it's very similar
