Jimmy was playing less of a tight end roll and more of a wide receiver these days and lining out more. I feel that made him less effective. There was no disguising that he could stay on the line or go out. He was out as a wide out and was jammed more. Maybe Saints wanted to get the money out of him....Also, he was the top "target" for DBs every sunday and was double teamed more. But as many have said on this board, the O-line was more of an importance than it was to have a high priced tight end that was really a wide out at this point. Still good production, but was a luxury. Drew is best when he spreads the ball around and Jimmy was becoming too often a target to "lean" on.

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 3m3 minutes ago Interesting… In initial talks, @Alex_Flanagan said #Saints GM Mickey Loomis threw out some WRs to Seattle for potential trades. Wonder who

I'm guessing Colston and/or Toon, which Seattle probably laughed at both. I would have a hard time seeing them include Cooks or Stills.

So you think we draft two offensive players and one defensive player with our first three picks to help the defense?

Well this kinda defuses the "Saints vs Graham" rift theory.

Just shows the change in philosophy to valuing power over finesse on the offensive side. And the need to protect Brees.

this fricking drama queen is going to call me out? OK

The whole quote coming from you is laughable. You're typically the most overly emotional bitch on this board and on top of that you fancy yourself as a valued, educated opinion here? Outstanding.

If we do that and also use his free money for next year to backload a CB contract like Williams I would say yes.

I love Jimmy and wish him well. I would love a dominant Oline and competent CBs even more.

And then you freak out like a little bitch.

You're free to look up all my posts stemming from this trade. You'll find them all to be level headed and actually adding value to this board (outside of my trollish Khiry tweet post). Stick to the Tiger Rant. There's a reason you don't post here often.

Peyton will never draft Collins, nor any other LSU player. He passed on Eric Reid, Jeremy Hill and countless other former Tigers. He ain't impressed. He's happy with Ingram, ha ha ha.

He stated he liked Hill a lot, but he was picked literally 3 picks before our All-Pro SJB.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, you don't jump from Colston/Toon to Graham. It wouldn't surprise me if Cooks or Stills was initially offered.
