No. He isnt. Ingram is better and has proved himself better.

I guess I made that sentence confusing. I was referring to Ingram going into the 2014 season. Also, I don't know how many times I have to say it, but Ingram is a better running back than Robinson.

quote:

but Ingram has proven that he deserves the spot, he's better than Kihry, and hes an NFL caliber starting runningback.

You can't possibly say that he deserves the spot without knowing what it will cost. Once again, I have never said that ingram isn't better than Khiry

But let's not act like they are equals.

I've never acted like they are equals. I've been one of Ingram's biggest supporters on this site.

Even with what you originally quoted, I wasn't acting like they are equals. The key word is VALUE

Good.

Yes i can. Regardless of cost, he deserves the starting spot if he is on this team. Whether or not we can afford to give him what he deserves is another story, but i would not at all feel comfortable with letting him go and putting the game in the hands of Robinson. And frick no do i want Peterson or Rice on this team. Payton built this team on eradicating lockerroom cancer. He let that slip the last three years and we have seen the consequences.

Direct quote from you:

He's as proven as Ingram going into this season.

Duh. The entire premise of what you responded to was letting Ingram walk due to the cost:

quote:

I'd rather have cheap running backs and spend the $3-5 million on the LOS.

That is the entire reason Robinson's contract # was brought up.

I've clarified that. I can see how it could be confusing though. Let me make it simpler for you:

Ingram going into the 2014 season wasn't proven as an every down back.

We could have the money for both Ingram and the line if we traded Graham.

Dafuq does that have to do with anything?
