I got a jawbone thing for Christmas. It's like a bracelet. Doesn't bother me at all. Pretty eat to track steps and sleep habits. Plus I add the food I eat in the app and sorta track calories in vs burned. I also use the sHealth app on my Galaxy S5 active.

Got one for Christmas. Like it... not sure how accurate it really is. Enjoy seeing the steps and sleep tracking. There is a new model coming out (if not out already)that will also monitor heart rate. Kind of a toy, but if helps motivate you to exercise (more) then I'm all for it.

I got one for Christmas. It's ok, not entirely accurate though. When I run it's at least a half mile behind. I probably use it for its watch more than anything since I'm already pretty active, don't need a reminder to work out. Really need something more accurate distance readings than fit bit tbh. Glad I saw someone mention Garmin or Tom Tom earlier in the thread, will look into getting one of those.

Breathalyzers are cool to play with. That's about the only gadget that would really do me any good.

I wasn't saying he is.

That's great he likes it though. You said he's plenty active without the band though so for him it's just a fun way for him to see just how active he is.

I was just meaning that so many kids aren't as active now and sit and watch tv or are gamer nerds. They could look at the band and meeting their steps the same way they look at getting a high score on a game.

I use rice a cooker and crock pot.

I also use a toaster and coffee maker. I guess those are gadgets too according to the food board.

Am I allowed to use my microwave?

So I'm not really cooking if it's in a crock pot?

Who cares as long as it tastes good right?
