quote:

"When a catch is made by a receiver who comes down with both feet on the ground, the "football move" would be: stretching for a first down, diving out-of-bounds or running with the ball. If the "football move" is accomplished, and the receiver is then hit and the ball comes out, it is ruled a catch and fumble, instead of an incomplete forward pass."

Clear catch imo, and even if not, you certainly can't tell me it was indisputable that he didn't make a football move.

Yep Boys got fricked over, we just got to accept it and move on. Can't expect to win games on a call.

Yep, as I've been saying past precedent has almost always ruled a play like Bryant's a catch. This "but he was falling" nonsense has not factored in in the past when the player who was falling made a football move.

No it isn't. He was reaching for the end zone. And again, not indisputable.

not enough for it to be a football move. He may have stretched it an inch or two forward. Plus this is a judgment call, Mike Pereira who was a former VP of officiating in the NFL, agreed with the call.

Again what is the definition of a stretch? putting your hands out fully while going for a TD or first down, or any move forward of the ball while falling. But what ever, I'm going to side with Pereira on this one.

Indisputable? Not a chance.
