Give their best in bowl games? This is not the first time that we have seen this happen. Without calling names, have you seen worse games by some of these players. Is not getting hurt so important to these guys, that they decide to just go through the motions? Am I the only one who didn't think that Notre Dame was good enough to drive the ball up and down the field the entire game on these guys?

Why would a player who is going into the draft not give 100% in his last game where scouts will probably be watching?

Would you risk your professional career in a crap game like the Music City?

These guys are not like the honey badger. They will be lucky to make a practice squad. Not saying they suck but saying it is THAT hard to make an NFL roster

Keep in mind that they were already given a stay I'm school grade. When they decide to go they're outta there. Although no one wants to do bad, it has to be on their mind to not get hurt.

Coaches and scouts care less about 1 bowl game than how a player looked throughout the season. Then if these players put up numbers at Pro Day + Combine it helps as well as the individual interviews teams will give them.

Yeah it hurt Russell Shepard who made 500k this past season, or Alfred Blue who made 450k, or Ron Brooks who made 500k this year, or last years person who should not have left Trai Turner who made 550k

Brooks and Shepard were, but LSU fans basically laughed at them saying neither would stick in the NFL and wouldn't make it past a practice squad

Last year Ironsides complained about Ego Ferguson (and Blue making a comment about Blue in the CFL), saying it was a mistake. well Ego signed a 4 year 4.11m contract with the Bears. He has 1.1m in guaranteed money(signing bonus) and his salary last year was another 420k. Turner is another people on here last year criticized for leaving and he had a good year last year and got paid.

I complained about Johnson not ferguson. Y'all act like it is a guaranteed thing and its not. If you are good enough you should go. I'm saying both jalens need to improve before going big time otherwise they risk their careers.

It's not just me saying that, it's the NFL - didn't both Jalens get a stay in school grade?

in the Ferguson thread you stated,

for all these kids, I hope they actually make a team. Would be a shame to piss away a college education and all the white women and not get a pay day.

which isn't bad really compared when Blue announced you you said,

You sure it's not the CFL draft?

Who laughed at Brooks making it in the NFL? He was fast, physical and could tackle. I think most thought at worst he'd stick as a special teamer for a few yrs.
