Much of the series "Bonnie & Clyde" was shot in and around Donaldsonville, LA.

Are there any other movies or TV shows that have filmed in the area?

Well, True Detective was filmed in the general area at least if not exactly Donaldsonville.
And there were some old "Attack of the Killer Bees" type movies way back. And Memphis Beat was actually filmed mostly in LaPlace but did venture out for some outdoor shots.
Oh, and A Gathering of Old Men was filed in the general area as well I think.

There was a Billy Bob Thorton movie filmed there. My MIL asked him over for dinner a few times.

First movie I attended without parental supervision was ET at the theater in Donaldsonville. That is the only thing I can contribute to this thread.

The Badge.
A few scenes from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The biggest I can remember (actor/actress-wise) is All the Kings Men. Had Sean Penn, Jude Law, Kate Winslett, Anthony Hopkins, James Gandolfini and more in D'ville. People were going crazy
