I saw him back at Sprayberry and always thought he was a special athlete, but I never would have predicted top RB status. Seems like he would have more of a McCluster impact on the game to me.
It could come this year because this could be his best chance. No Gerhart and who knows what will happen with ad.

22 car 102 yards 4.9 YPC in the preseason for McKinnon. Also caught 4 passes.
Asiata had 24 carries for 80 yards. 3.3 YPC

I will feel dumb if McKinnon bursts out and I forgot to grab him because I googled directions to a place instead and never came back to it.

First, AP isn't going to be released like Ray Rice.
Second, no one knows how long he will be out, but let's assume 8 full games. Whenever he comes back, it's APs job.
With that under consideration, I would expect the Vikings to try to win games in his absence.
The question is, which RB gives them the best chance to win games?

Hopefully Mckinnon. I picked him up after asiata got gobbled up. Hopefully I drank from the carpenters cup.

He was pretty good in high school but that's all I remember. Didn't really think I'd still be hearing his name 5 years later.

I don't think McKinnon gets a full grasp of the play book, pass blocking and speed of NFL in the next 6-8 games. Asiata will get majority touches and act as RB3 with specific plays set up for for McKinnon.
