imo is having teams who play each other in the league face off.

United, Liverpool and City playing in the preseason just doesn't feel right same with Italian teams.

Those are special games that need to happen in the season. United vs Liverpool in the final won't be played like a friendly which will be awesome for the fans there but I really don't want to see anyone on either team getting injured bc they don't know how to dial it down in a derby game. A North West Derby in Miami just doesn't sit well.

This is likely the matchup that the organizers wanted though. The attendance for the games not including the English teams or Real Madrid have been pretty bad.

Yeah, should be interesting... I wouldn't mind playing a lot of our squad players... We've already lost Studge, Lallana, Markovic, Borini and Flanagan on this tour... Don't want to lose anymore.

I'd rather get them fit for BvB next weekend (hopefully Lovren can play then too).

It worked out perfect last year

Two teams with huge american fan bases

This year the same but its a derby the players won't know how to turn it down and the fans, frick man esp with all the English ex pats who live down there a Manc/Scouse crowd with out fans being separated

hah these are the people who have enough to lose that they got out of England... don't think it will be worse than any AFC East matchup

It's not like United has to worry about Europe.

I guess. I got my tickets last night as soon as I knew the match up though. From the looks of ticket master so did many many others. Gonna be exactly 10 rows up from goal.
