Yeah but if he does plan on making a comeback, and his motive is money. His going price is at the vet minimum.
I'd be perfectly a-ok with him using the money as motivation, bust arse at an all-pro level for 1 year and collect that paycheck next year at someone else's expensive. We on the other hand would solidify the best guard tandem for a year if he can play up to his pre-TB level.

In no way am I making fun of another players injury.
But olinemen leaving the Saints seems to be like telling the mob you want out. Just about every one that's parted ways in the Payton era has ended up injured or out of the game.
