Never seen this movie before. My friends all said it was awesome. I just wanted to ask the posters of the Movie board about how awesome is this movie really? How high would you rate it?

Arkin might be my favorite character actor, the score was fantastic, and if ever something needed called out it's those little girl pageants.

It's an icon of independent cinema. It's a great movie regardless, but the story behind the movie makes it even better.

Honestly, don't take my word for it, but I really disliked this movie. I just thought it was hipster bullshite, and just didn't like it. Granted if you have a different viewpoint than I do, I think you'll like it, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I can see why others like it, but it just didn't do it for me.
