I'm running this on just 1 rig..
CPU: i7 4930K @ 4.5 1.38v
MOBO: MSI X79 GD-45 Plus
GPU: 3xSLi EVGA GTX 780 To @ 1241 1.275mv
All under water with EK blocks, AquaComputer RADs, D5 in a Merlin.
Build is old and can't wait to update the main rig with X99/Big Maxwell.

I would have loved this board but the damn thing dropped nearly 3months after IB-E launched. No way i'm waiting that long on an already outdated chipset. Settles with the GD-45 Plus w/ a couple "mods" for the time being. Still an awesome board and reaches the same CPU clocks as ASUS RIVE BE, but the RIVE BE does beat it out in memory clocks.

The point was to make a terrible thread and have that reinforced..I think that is a mission success.
Next, I am upgrading and wanted opinions, but didn't want to do it I'm a traditional manner..so I made a terrible post.
Last purpose was to make a pc thread w/o stout posting in it. So obviously I put stout in the OP

Depending on what you're upgrading, a solid choice might be a 4670k/4770k, one of these motherboards, and either a 290/290x or 780/780 ti.
