Houston CPA Recommendation

Any of you Houston peeps use a CPA you'd recommend? I'm in The Woodlands but would be willing to drive a bit for the right person. Please include approximate cost in your recommendation, if you don't mind. Lastly, if there's any context you can provide, that would help me out. Thanks in advance

What do you need this CPA to do?

Individual taxes with a mix of W2 and 1099 earnings.
I'm an independent contractor, providing consulting services. However, last year I was W2 for most of the year and then 1099 for the last ~3 months. Additionally, I moved from a state with state income tax to Texas. My wife was also pregnant for much of the year, so there are some medical expenses (though likely not deductible given our income).
Basically, I've done my taxes for 2013 and filed an extension. I have some consternation about what I've prepared personally and would like to get verification, if nothing else.

Sure.
Your taxes should be fairly straight forward(depending on the industry you're consulting in).
I would just google CPAs in your area and see what comes up. You can schedule a consultation to get a vibe to see if you like him/her.
