Anyone else hate MLB instant replay so far?

Never supported it to begin with, but I gave it a chance
Just hate how managers come out to contest every call that is somewhat close and doesn't go their way, then stalls until the bench coach gives the manager the thumbs up to challenge or thumbs down to retreat
There should be an addendum added, that managers have 10 seconds after the call was made to challenge it. If its really that bad of a call then it should be obvious. What's the point of having umpires now?

So you don't hate instant replay, you just hate how managers are abusing the system.

It's been a complete disaster so far, but it's early.

Red Sox manager John Farrell might be the most dissatisfied customer when it comes to MLB’s new expanded instant replay system, but he’s far from the only one. While it’s as unfair to judge two weeks of performance by replay officials as it is to overstate the significance of the hot or cold starts by any player or team, this past weekend featured a trio of high-profile incidents that have shaken confidence in the system, as reviewed plays appeared to wind up with incorrect outcomes despite considerable evidence to the contrary.

There's only been two calls so far that was the incorrect call on the field and the instant replay didn't get it right. So it's doing a pretty good job so far. But every call should be right...
The dumbest rule is that they can't challenge the neighborhood play. Shouldn't every call be right.

They will tweak it. Probably a button in the dug out that buzzes the ump if they want to challenge, maybe?
If the manager enters the field, there can be no challenge. That would help.

Is it not a vast improvement?

Red Sox got straight up fricked by it this weekend. Twice.

I don't hate it but I think baseball was fine without it. I thought the umpires did a great job without it, but I'm sure I will love it if my team ben idiots from it.

This. I haven't noticed any improvements.

This is the biggest flaw in football instant replay, imo. Why are some calls reviewable and some aren't? The goal should be getting as many calls right as possible.

Ok, then big time fail. I like the idea of replay in MLB, but having 2 games impacted by blown calls that EVERYONE else in the country saw were incorrect is a really bad first couple of weeks. Add to that that they delay an already painfully slow game, just to get it wrong, and you have a disastrous beginning. Like I said, it's early. At least there is hopefully nowhere to go but up.

I thought this initially too, but my thought is: If players can still make a terrible slide into second to try and break up a double play, then a SS/2B should be able to protect himself as necessary. If the MLB wants to emphasize player safety, make runners slide straight into second, otherwise it is an out. After that happens, the neighborhood play can be reviewed.
