This U18 cycle really is impressive. It will be interesting to see if some can make the jump to the U20s before the U20 WC rolls around or if any establish themselves with the senior side by 2018. A couple will be with the U20s at the Dallas Cup.

Yep, NOSA played against Jozy Altidore in the Netherlands years ago.

The majority were (one did look like a type of selection side, they were Midwestern), but I´m trying to reinforce the notion that this has been going on for a while now.

Real Madrid lil´nippers have been going to Texas on a football exchange since the late 80´s, early 90´s.

It was always annoying to pull up Dallas Cup Super Group scores and see teams that could stomp on you get stomped on. The Brazilian teams were generally the worst offenders, though there was a team from Dallas that won it once (featuring Omar Gonzalez at striker). Globalization sucks

The Herndon '86 kids did a trip to Germany I remember, about half that team went on to play D1.

Best my team did was a Myrtle Beach trip
