Looked it up, it has a mahogany wrap on the exterior and a synthetic teak cockpit if anyone was curious.

One day . My friend picked up a HVX when they first came out and we used it to shoot wakeskating videos. Camera was bought like 4 years ago. Here's a LINK to one video shot with it. Watch in HD, and even then you can see how outdated the camera is - even though it's only 4 years old. Cameras are really one of the things that you get what you pay for.

That being said, some of these newer DSLRs take really impressive video...like the Canon T5i. Much cheaper than buying a HVR or HVX too.
