The only one I know that doesn't breed american shepherds are in slaughter. Theirs are pure German imports so will cost a little more than $800. Was actually looking at getting a pup from them myself. I can give you contact info if you want. If doesn't work out I can give you names of breeders in other states up north where mine came from.

My brother in law has some pups. I think he just lowered his price to $700, might be lower but don't quote me on that.
