Each year, the culinary foundation honors five restaurants as America's Classics. These are beloved, long-running establishments, like diners, barbecue stands and burger joints. They're often family-operated and represent the best of American regional food.

I'm reading Carville And Matalin's book right now. There's a funny part about when the two children asked Carville to take then to Pinkberry. He said what in the hell is that? When they said yogurt, he told them there would be no yogurt in their house and took them to Hansen's. That's the shortened version.

I was in line behind Carville at pinkberry near whole foods in New Orleans last summer.

Whether or not that has anything to do with your post, i do no know, but i saw him there with what i assume was his grandchildren.

He's got kids in high school (maybe early college age). I don't think he has grandchildren.

Maybe it was his kids. As i recall they weren't college age. So definitely high school. I only assumed grandchildren because Carville looks like he's 352 years old and he just escaped Auschwitz.

Lol. Guess his kids wanted yogurt instead of Hansen's.

His kids are pretty young. He got married late in life. I don't know their ages right now, but when they moved to Nola a year or two following Katrina, I believe, the girls were in grammar school. I think the youngest was 9. The other one might have been junior high age. They're probably in high school.
