why would anyone watch the NFL Network simulcast?

they aren't even going to have different announcers.

A guess, but you can watch NFL Network on Xbox One and they fought to keep that attractive.

What's the negative slant to this? Seems pretty good to me except that I liked the NFL Network broadcast team.

Yeah yeah, I know the north and west love their NFL, but good look competing for households between an NFL game and a big time SEC night game.

The Saturday night games aren't until after college football ends. Last 3 or so weeks of the season

You're joking, right?

ETA: Put LSU vs. Alabama and Seattle vs. San Francisco and lets see who wins. I'm confident in my (NFL) pick.

I came to say, "WHAT?! I had no idea I could get the NFL network on my Xbox."

Then I realized I have the 360...

Thread title somewhat misleading. No Saturday games will be broadcast on CBS. A CBS-produced Saturday doubleheader will be televised only on the NFL Network.

yes but why does that matter when you can just get it free over the air with an antenna?

And only in December after CFB is over.

Microsoft made a big deal of their partnership with the NFL when they announced the Xbox One. I'm not saying buy an Xbox because of the NFL app, but it's really nice and losing the 8 best live games that would have been on the NFL Network wouldn't be in their interest. You can also put the game in the small window and use a different app/game on the bigger window.

There always seems to be some type of visual issue with CBS right in the middle of games.

NFLN still has exclusive rights to half the games, so you still have to have NFLN to see them all.
